A day of golf that builds families
Tee Up & Tip Off pairs the opening weekend of March Madness with a four-person scramble at Hunting Creek Country Club. Nine years in, it has grown from a small outing among friends into a sold-out field, and this year every dollar raised benefits Adoption Assistance, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving families across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana.
Your $200 registration covers the day's gambling and your charitable donation. Expect contests on the course, a raffle, featured cocktails, food, music, and cash payouts for the top three teams, then NCAA basketball and optional poker at the clubhouse after the round.
Foursomes are assigned by handicap about a week before the event, so sign up solo or bring your crew and let the organizers set the pairings. If you are not a Hunting Creek member, cart and greens fees are paid separately at the club.

Format is a scramble with green tees for players under 70 and gold tees for 70 and over. Two-putt max, bogey max, no mulligans, and play fast. It's a full field.
