Julie
Erwin is the founder and Executive Director of Adoption Assistance,
Inc.
She and her husband Bill, an attorney,
are the parents of five internationally adopted children;
Will, age 9 born in Korea, Kate, age 7, born in Guatemala,
twins Nick and Clay, age 5, also born in Guatemala and Lauren
age 2
born in Taiwan.
 Before
founding Adoption Assistance, Inc., Julie was a classroom teacher,
school counselor and elementary school principal. She
left
the educational field in order to pursue her passion of helping
families adopt.
Her background in education, and her professional
and personal adoption experiences, enable her to relate well
to prospective adoptive parents and their many different needs.
The
Erwin family resides in Danville, Kentucky.
Adoption Assistance, Inc., while based in Danville, has adoption
workers available in Lexington, Louisville, Western
Kentucky and Smyrna, Tennessee.
